The Salkind Family is doing everything in its power to ensure that Electra Real Estate (which they own) does not reach a debt settlement, after the real estate company sold its properties and reduced its leverage - it is working to strengthen its capital base.  The company’s board of directors authorized a private allocation of the company’s shares totaling NIS 100 million.

Gershon Salkind’s Elco Holdings, owns 58% of Electra Real Estate’s shares and the remainder is owned by the public.  The institutional investors (Clal, Dash-Apex and Epsilon) own 17% and the remainder is owned by the public.
